Building on the Past 25 in 2025

In 1998, a group of committed and compassionate community members came together to build a healthcare clinic centered on kindness—to provide care for friends, neighbors, and families in need. Thousands of hours and countless meetings later, the Downtown Clinic (Clinic) was created and opened its doors in July 1999. For the past 25 years, the Clinic has provided high-quality care, free of charge, to thousands of people in Albany County. But there is still more to do.

2025 launches the next quarter century of care for the Clinic, and we need your help to ensure this vital work continues.
